$14 BILLION MIXED USE PROJECT - LAS VEGAS

ROLE

Development manager for a joint venture with a major national real estate firm and Las Vegas gaming operator for a $14 billion mixed-use project in Las Vegas.

OBJECTIVE

Conceptualize, design and entitle a development plan to maximize the value of the 100-acre parcel.

APPROACH

Created the development program and selected and managed the design and professional team. Recruited a world-class team of architectural, design and legal professionals, including acclaimed architect Norman Foster, and led the design and entitlement process.

RESULT

Designed and obtained all governmental entitlements for a self-contained community that creatively fused a “destination resort” environment and a 24/7 urban lifestyle, with financially self-sustaining villages. When complete, will include 7,800 hotel keys in two gaming hotels and two non-gaming boutique hotels; more than 2,000 residential units; 1.5 million square feet of commercial space; and 1.5 million square feet of retail and entertainment space.
